There is power when a congregation is in unity. Reading through Scripture together according to a common plan is one way to keep us learning and growing together. By committing to a reading schedule we can share the common blessings of our devotional life with one another whenever we gather.
In 2010 we will offer two reading schedules. Just as during 2009, we have a New Testament reading schedule available. This schedule will help the reader finish the New Testament at a leisurely pace of one chapter for each weekday or five chapters a week. For those of you up for the challenge, we will also offer a reading schedule for the entire Bible, starting with Genesis and going all the way through Revelation. This more ambitious schedule requires reading of about three chapters a day.
