Go Mission Teams
Crossroads sends several Short Term Mission Teams each year to serve alongside our ministry partners. They go as Jesus commanded ‘to make disciples’ but also to offer encouragement to the missionaries we partner with. We desire a mutually beneficial relationship with those we serve. We are intentional about building relationships not only with missionaries, but with people in the towns and villages that see Jesus through the teams that return each year. Often, return visits build credibility of the host missionary for the people they minister to each and every day.
Supporting a Go Mission Team
10% of the General Offering is designated to missions and outreach. When making a contribution to a mission team, please make the check payable to Crossroads Church and write the team name in the memo line. If you intend for your donation to go toward a specific individual on a team, you should give the check to that individual directly or the team leader to turn in.
Please note: If “Missions” is written in the memo line, your offering will be designated to an account that is not distributed among the teams. These funds are used to meet other outreach needs that arise throughout the year and have not been budgeted.
2012 Mission Team Support Opportunities

Often, return visits by the teams build the credibility of the host missionary with the people they minister to. Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God in order to draw people to a relationship with Him.
Please pray about supporting our mission teams with your prayers and financially (if you are able). Information about each team and their financial needs is below. When making a contribution, please make the check payable to “Crossroads Church” and write the team name in the memo line. If you intend for your donation to go toward a specific individual on a team, you should give the check to that individual directly or their team leader.
Please pray for each of the mission teams as they prepare to minister in the field. Pray that God uses them in a mighty way to bring glory to Himself and impact the areas where they are ministering. Please pray for their safety, wellness and divine opportunities to share their testimonies of God’s goodness.
New Orleans – April 7-14 Team Members: Dan, Tammy & Will Hauser, JoAnn Lampe, Missy & Alli McKeny, and Terri & Colin Towers. This team will be partnering with the Malinich family (missionaries Crossroads supports) and local churches to minister in poor areas. (Their financial needs are met) Team Leaders: Dan Hauser and JoAnn Lampe
Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico - June 15-24 Team Members: Bill & Beth Keasler, Jill Satterfield, Patti Wesley, Linda Hauschildt, Don Rink, Todd Spears, Kathy Jones, Sean Bass, Mack & Phyllis Shirley, Jack Reyome, Beth Deal, Tom Shaw and Nathan Winkler. This team works with the local Methodist pastor to identify residents in desperate need of repairs to their homes such as roofing, plumbing, wheelchair ramps, or electrical. Cost is $1000 per person. Leticia, Colombia - June 9-17 Team Members: Steve & Grant O’Brien, Aaron Van Gilder, Kellie Dixon, Daren Brauer, JT & Savannah Hott, Jamey, Aaron & Ben LaFevers, Randy & Carlie Peters, Greg Popovich and Kristina Whitley. This team will help build the new La Aljaba orphanage, provide medical clinics in the area and VBS for the children. Cost is $1900 per person. Florestal & Belo Horizonte, Brazil - July 12-20 Team Members: Michael & Naseem Helms, John & Bonnie Curran, Kevin Gilman and Jamahl Evans. They will be delivering food parcels to the poor, and visiting hospitals, recuperation centers and orphanages. They will also hold evening services to share their personal testimonies about God’s goodness and His faithfulness. Their cost is $2500.00 per person. Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico – July 21-28 Team Members: Shannon Chambers, Barry Darnell, Beryl Torrence, Jodi Hott, Eric Williford, Jason Clark, Sam Beach, Greg Helms, Matt Sykes, Christen Sykes, Sam Miller, Karrie Small, Hannah Hartman, Jasonna Chambers, Rayquan Chambers, Bryana Hott, Alyssa Wellmon, Abby Smith, Chelcie Williams and Tessa Schwab. This team will provide VBS for 5 – 8 year-old children in a poor area. They also plan to do repairs at the Christian camp where they will be staying. Cost is $1200 per person.
