Local Missions Outreach

We are intentionally reaching out to our neighbors to help meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs by going out into and serving the community each month.

Night Shelter

May 21

7th-12th grade students will prepare a meal together and serve guests at the Samaritan’s House Night Shelter in Concord.

Middle School Mission Trip

Memorial Day weekend 2012 -   May 25-28

The purpose of this trip is for students in grade 6-8 to prepare for future missions trips by helping the staff of Cedar Grove clean up and get ready to open. We will be work each day cleaning, painting, and landscaping. Each afternoon there will be a time to enjoy some of the activities the camp offers, such as hiking, tubing, swimming, and tons of other stuff.

High School Mission Trip

Memorial Day Weekend 2012 -  May 25-28

SIFAT Alabama Global Village/ Slum Experience

The purpose of this trip will be to allow youth to encounter some of the conditions faced daily by the poor in the developing world and prepare them for future service in the mission field. These unforgettable experiences will equip young Christians to serve Christ alongside “the least of these” in our world.

GOLDRUSH

July 9-13

Gold Rush is a week-long summer student retreat created and hosted by the Perimeter Church Student Ministry. This incredible blessing is completely student-led. Perimeter’s students powerfully challenge their peers to grow in their walk with Christ through testimonies, drama, worship, small group interaction, and more. The great desire is for each
student to grasp the Truth and make life-changing decisions that last far beyond the excitement of the week. Each afternoon students will leave the campus for different activities, such as local missions and other fun activities.

Cost: $180

MFUGE

July 9-14  Greenville, SC

Rising 8th-12th grade students will be challenged each day and stretched as individuals through a variety of mission projects. Each evening they will have an opportunity to build group unity over dinner, worship, games, recreation and group devotions.

Cost: $275 All inclusive

Must register and pay $100 deposit by April 1. Balance due onor before June 3.

SPIRITUS

August 2012

SpiritUs is a three-day retreat at the end of the summer intended to fill you with the Spirit as you head back to school. Students will enjoy awesome music, dynamic teaching, and small group times. There will also be some free time in which students can enjoy the beach, canoeing, putt-putt, basketball, and many other activities. You won’t want to miss SpiritUs 2012! Come share in a weekend of inspiring worship, new and old friends, God’s great creation – the beach, and have lots of fun together!
