Worship
Contemporary worship style - modern, engaging, exciting, authentic, and above all else, biblically based. Music, drama, multi-media, worship dance, and other art forms combined to worship the Lord and proclaim His amazing story in our lives. 'Come as you are' attitude, which means no particular dress code. Joyful and relaxed atmosphere, not stuffy. We believe that 'church' doesn't have to be boring, and that it should be an exciting and engaging place to be in worship!
Ministry Opportunities
Praise & Worship Team
A band of various instrumentalists and vocalists, with the primary responsibility to assist in worship at each worship celebration and all special events and/or services. Team members are selected through an application and interview process.
Praise Choir
A group of vocalists and singers who lead in corporate worship services, sing special arrangements, as well as perform for special events and productions throughout the year.
Multi-Media Ministry
A ministry of media technicians who operate all multi-media equipment for every worship celebration, drama, or musical production. This could include operating and designing slide and video presentations, computer imaging, operating video projectors, video and television cameras, dramatic lighting, sound systems, and other forms of multi-media. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in leading the worship experience and work with state-of-the-art equipment. Team members are selected through an application and interview process.
Drama Ministry
Those with a calling and abilities in acting, dramatic or oral interpretation can use their gifts for the Lord in our worship celebrations, seasonal productions, and other special occasions. Drama Team members will encourage, instruct, and admonish Christians and non-Christians in biblical truths and serve to enhance the worship experience through this exciting ministry. Team members are selected through an application and interview process.
Worship Dance Ministry
Praising through expressive physical movement which can consist of elements of dance (such as folk, ballet, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, and jazz), truimphal celebration (such as flags, banners, streamers, and candles), dramatic interpretation, and sign language to express the joy we experience in our Lord and to draw the congregation to share that experience. Dances may be done at the worship celebrations, seasonal productions, or other special occasions. Team members are selected through an application and interview process.
Ushers and Greeters
Help to insure the overall enhancement of each worship experience. Greeters will generally greet members and guests as they come through the doors of the church, as well as give important information or direction regarding the church building or ministry activities. Ushers will assist in the worship celebration through seating people, handing out important ministry materials, the worship of the tithes and offerings, and ensuring general building security and comfort during worship or special events.
Special Productions/Events
Participate in our special productions such as The Carolina Christmas Spectacular which is a Variety Dinner Theater Show that impacts thousands of lives each year. Opportunities include band/orchestra, vocalists/ensembles, multi-media, sound/lighting, dance, marketing, decorating, stage construction, set design, kitchen crew, wait-staff, etc.
