Adult Choir

A group of vocalists and singers who lead in corporate worship services, sing special arrangements, as well as perform for special events and productions throughout the year. The praise choir meets on Thursdays in Room 114 at 6:30pm.

Vision:

         To develop a choir that will encourage our congregation to go deeper

         and be more authentic in their worship.

Purpose:
         To enable the individual to step in and serve the church using their

         God given gifts in music. To mentor and train worship leaders.

Goals:
        • Grow in worship leading: Transition to a more effective worship

          leading choir; (as opposed to just being large background vocal

          section on occasional Sunday mornings.)

        • Grow in worship expression: Choir is the foundation for many to

          begin using their God given gift of leading worship. Choir provides

          an opportunity to discover your purpose, which is to bring glory to

          our God.

        • Grow musically: Choir is a place to develop musical skill and

          receive musical training.

        • Grow in service: It provides an opportunity of service for the

          individual who does not desire to hold a microphone, but love to

          worship the Lord through singing.

        • Grow through connecting: Choir is a place for people not only to

          connect with others through music, but also through scripture,

          prayer, and caring for one another. It is the small group experience

          for many of the members.
