Short Term Mission Trips

Crossroads sends several Short Term Mission Teams each year to serve alongside our ministry partners. They go as Jesus commanded ‘to make disciples’ but also to offer encouragement to the missionaries we partner with. We desire a mutually beneficial relationship with those we serve. We are intentional about building relationships not only with missionaries, but with people in the towns and villages that see Jesus through the teams that return each year. Often, return visits build credibility of the host missionary for the people they minister to each and every day. In 2009 Crossroads sent teams to Puerto Rico, Kenya, Mexico, Brazil, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Peytona, WV.

Local and international outreach has always been at the heart of Crossroads Church. The vision is to intentionally reach thousands for Christ. The Bible tells us to, "Therefore go and preach the gospel to all nations, baptizing them with the Holy Spirit." God's desire is for us to choose Him. We embrace the commission to share the hope of Jesus Christ to those who do not know him and encourage those who do.

Trip Details

Trip applications may be found in the Missions Corner. Once completed, they should be submitted to the church office with a $50 non-refundable deposit. 
 

Supporting a Short Term Team

10% of the General Offering is designated to missions and outreach. When making a contribution to a mission team, please make the check payable to Crossroads Church and write the team name in the memo line. If you intend for your donation to go toward a specific individual on a team, you should give the check to that individual directly or the team leader to turn in.

Please note: If “Missions” is written in the memo line, your offering will be designated to an account that is not distributed among the teams. These funds are used to meet other outreach needs that arise throughout the year and have not been budgeted.
