Team Member Expectations
- Acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life and have a personal relationship with Him
- Be committed toward growing and maturing your relationship with God through quiet times, active attendance at church, tithing and involvement in accountable relationships
- Submit to your on field hosts and team leader
- Endeavor at all times to foster a spirit of unity, harmony and cooperation within your team and local church
- Be flexible, cooperative, cheerful, and able to operate and live in adverse conditions
- Submit to one another. Keep your eyes off yourself and put others before you
- Refrain from gossip, criticism and complaining that could cause another to stumble or bring disharmony to the team or the body of Christ
- Commit to choices that are both godly and “above reproach”, knowing that your lifestyle is a model for others and witness for Jesus Christ
- Discipline yourself to spend time with God each day in prayer and in His Word
- Attend the Team Meetings in preparation for this trip
- Be prepared to lead a devotion and give your testimony
- Fill out a mandatory post-trip report
- Be intentional about participating in community outreach prior to and upon return of the trip
- Team members are responsible to pay any remaining portion of your trip costs 21 days prior to departure
